Preliminary Eligibility Guide
To qualify for a U.S. teaching position, you must meet these basic requirements:
Teaching License: You are fully qualified to teach in your home country or country of legal residence.
Education: You hold a university degree equivalent to a 4-year U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Education or the specific academic subject you intend to teach.
Experience: You have at least 2 years of full-time, lead teaching experience (teacher of record).
Background Check: You can pass a criminal background check and meet the hiring standards of the U.S. state where you will be placed.
Character: You maintain a good professional reputation and character.
Job Type: You agree to work as a full-time, lead teacher in an accredited K-12 school.
English Skills: You demonstrate advanced English proficiency. (You will participate in an English-language interview as part of our assessment).

If you are currently employed as a full-time teacher, you must meet the Basic Requirements listed above.
NO, I am not teaching right now:
If you are not currently teaching, you may still apply if you meet the Basic Requirements plus all three of the following criteria:
Legal Qualification: You remain legally qualified to teach in your home country.
Recent Experience: You have at least 2 years of full-time, lead teaching experience within the last 8 years.
Advanced Degree: You have completed an advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Education or your specific teaching subject within the past 12 months.
